KCYM Mission Statement 2011 - 2012 (adopted April 6, 2011)

Kansas City Young Matrons (KCYM) is a women's volunteer organization designed to encourage social, educational, and personal relationships and to identify needed services to provide a positive impact within the community.

KCYM has over three hundred women who donate over 15,000 service hours each year to the Kansas City area. Founded in 1917, it has a long history of involvement in philanthropic and charitable endeavors benefiting the Kansas City metropolitan area.

In 1936 our Club House was built and in 1998 was listed in the Kansas City Register of Historic Places. KCYM members have come to know their historic Club House as "home".
